This was a nice dinner for our last night in Sydney. We had to take a taxi over from the Rocks which turned into a bit of an adventure with a dishonest taxi driver, so beware that little complication, but if you can get yourself over to Barangaroo it was really nice, quiet and cozy. A little bit of molecular gastronomy going on it seems but not so much to be extra pretentious.
It was just right.
The Meat and Wine Co: with restaurants in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, this is the perfect date night restaurant that will leave your mouth-watering. Sit down.
Went for a double date with my sister and her husband! The place looks stunning, the food was fabulous and mouth watering! My personal favorites: artichoke salad, calamari and prawns while T-bone and eye fillet was very delicious , not to mention the fish garfish. Mmmm yum!!! I absolutely recommend it. We went there on the long weekend with a few friends. The service was fine and the food was fine. I found the wine list expensive particularly when compared to a number of other options around Sydney.
Overall it’s fine, I’m not going to rush back but if someone suggests going there I will happily go! We went for desert and coffee and were blown away by the service, food, vibe and view. The staff were lovely and the dessert was heaven: chocolate cashew malt ice cream. Going back for dinner ASAP! My husband, brother in law and I dined in the restaurant on Friday night. We were a walk in so were seated at the back we no view.

What are your feelings towards dating? Do you love it? Do you get a buzz from going on a date, swirling cocktails and engaging in conversation with new people? For me, I am somewhere in the middle; my thoughts on this subject swing back and forth like a pendulum. With online dating becoming so widespread in this fast-paced digital world, it feels more daunting than ever to actively meet your date. Saying this, over the past few years I feel I have really conquered my dating nerves and have learnt how to seek the joy in it.
And I think that this is due to choosing the right date spot…. Move away from dinner. I dare you. In my experience these scenarios are too rigid.
